The National Association of Dermatological Nursing and Investigation of Impaired Cutaneous Integrity (ANEDIDIC) is holding the National Congress of Dermatological Nursing for the first time in Cartagena.
The XV edition, which is entitled 'The skin, our reflection', will be held until Friday, October 25 and has the support of the Faculty of Nursing at UCAM, through its Campus in Cartagena.
The Municipal Auditorium and Conference Center El Batel is the place where hundreds of health professionals and nursing students can learn about the latest developments and advances in dermatology and care of ulcers and wounds, by the hand of great health professionals in the current national scene.
The congress has begun with a welcoming act, by the second deputy mayor and councilor of the area of ​​Tourism, Commerce, Health and Consumer Affairs, Manuel Padín, accompanied by the president of ANEDIDIC, José Bonias, the president of the scientific committee, Javier Sánchez and the Regional Nursing Coordinator of the Murcia Health System, Aurora Tomás.
Throughout today, numerous activities and events have been scheduled as a round table on the importance of the Academy of Nursing in skin care, by the Nursing Academy of Galicia, the Valencia Community and Bizkaia;
a table on dermatology in the different stages of life, on the diabetic foot, the miscellaneous, the ulcers and the wounds or the dermato-surgical.
Also, there is a workshop of the Urgo Laboratory or the exhibitions of the TFM of three students of the Master in Deterioration of Cutaneous Integrity, Ulcers and Wounds, of Valencia.
For this Friday, October 25, also, several round tables have been organized on rare diseases, treatment in demartology, alternatives versus treatments in skin lesions, miscellaneous, oncological dermatology, skin aging and new Nursing skills.
Also, there will be two workshops of the Smith & Nephew Laboratory and the BSN Medical Laboratory.
The day will start from 9 hours.
During the congress, in the hall of El Batel, stalls selling products and creams for skin care were installed.
