The Cartagena Symphony Orchestra begins its new project in which they will offer a total of seven concerts throughout the season, with the first one on Saturday, October 26, at 8:00 p.m. in the Municipal Auditorium and Conference Center El Batel along with the horn soloist Nury Guarnaschelli under the direction of Leonardo Martínez.
The program of this concert includes the pieces Music for the Royal Fireworks of Haendel, Concert No. 4 in Mib KV.
495 for horn and orchestra by Mozart and Pulcinella by I. Stravinsky.
Tickets are now on sale at the El Batel Auditorium box office from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on the Auditorium's website: www.auditorioelbatel.es.
They have a general price of 10 euros, at 6 euros students and the unemployed will have a 25% discount.
The Cartagena Symphony Orchestra pursues with this cycle a main challenge that is to create the ideal conditions so that this project, created in 2003, can be directed towards its consolidation as a professional orchestra.
ABOUT NURY GUARNASCHELLI
The soloist began her work in the Vienna Radio and Television Orchestra between 1993 and 2008 and is the winner of numerous national and international performance awards.
She was a fellow of the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic, acting under the direction of H. von Karajan, Lorin Maazel, Ricardo Mutti, Daniel Barenboim, Claudio Abbado, among others.
He is currently collaborating with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Stattskapelle Berlin, Göteborg Symphony (Sweden), Cadaqués Orchestra or Stuttgart Philharmonic ...
As an educator, she carries out an intense activity teaching courses in Europe, America and Asia.
He is currently a horn teacher at the Brass Academy Alicante, an international wind-metal school in Alicante.
