The Municipal Auditorium and Palace of Congresses El Batel will be the setting for the I 'Young Leaders Leading the Change' Congress organized by the Mundi Teachers Association together with the Youth and Social Services Department of the City Council of Cartagena following the main objective of promoting leadership and its social participation in this generation.
The event will take place on October 30 at 5pm and is aimed at young people between 16 and 25 years old, “where attendees can hear first hand the experience and testimony of different people who are examples of leadership, entrepreneurship and solidarity, through a participatory, motivating and transformative methodology ”, explained the Councilor for Youth, David Martnez, during the presentation of the event.
It took place on Tuesday October 22 at the City Hall together with the coordinator of Mundi Teachers in Cartagena, Inma Ruiz, a non-profit association dedicated to promoting the integral development of children and families in situations of social exclusion.
This meeting will be the closing of the Project 'Generation P.30: Change to change the world' held between January and June of this year, where young people have carried out other volunteer activities and solidarity competitions.
“Its purpose is to promote the leadership and empowerment of young people as well as the values of solidarity, social participation, entrepreneurship and sustainable development,” reports the coordinator of Maestros Mundi, “as well as raising awareness among all social actors (Administration , companies and educational centers) in the contribution of all in social change ”.
