On Friday, November 1, the markets of El Algar, El Llano del Beal, Pozo Estrecho and Urbanización Mediterráneo will open normally despite being a holiday.
The opening hours to the public will be the usual one.
This measure is established in accordance with the Order of December 13, 2018, of the Ministry of Employment, Business, Universities and Environment of the Region of Murcia by which determine the holidays in which shops open.
This measure is also established in accordance with article 24.2 of the Municipal Ordinance regulating street or non-sedentary sales in the municipality of Cartagena.
In Cartagena's markets you can sell food, textiles, footwear, drugstore, handicrafts, small toys, glasses, ... It is strictly forbidden to sell: meat, offal, fresh sausages, fish, fresh and pasteurized milk, cheeses, bulk liquids, eggs, live animals, those that contravene the provisions of the Intellectual Property Law, and all those products that, due to their special characteristics, involve physical or sanitary risk.
The sale of products, considered prohibited (meats, sausages, fish, milk, cheeses and derivatives), may only be carried out in store vehicles.
