The City Council will expand the schedule control system to new workplaces (18/10/2019)

The Local Government Board of the City of Cartagena approved this morning the authorization of a budget of just over 4,000 euros for the acquisition of biometric readers for signing, by fingerprint, of the workday of municipal employees.

This measure is intended to complete the installation of this type of device, already existing in virtually all buildings and work centers of the City of Cartagena and its autonomous bodies, in compliance with European legislation on time control, through a system Safe and automated

Similar readers have been installed for some time in the San Miguel Administrative Building, the City Hall, Youth House, Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, School of Public Safety, La Milagrosa, Molina Palace, Municipal Stores, Statistics, Youth, Central Sports Pavilion and municipal nursery schools, among others.

The new six devices will go to the premises of the Local Police in the Security Park and the barracks of Cabo de Palos, Pozo Estrecho, Los Dolores and El Algar.

URBANIZATION PROJECT IN EL BOHĂŤO

On the other hand, the Local Government Board has initially approved the urbanization project of the execution unit 3 of sector Ld3, located behind the ships of El Bohío and bordering the Huerto de las Bolas, Polígono de Santa Ana and the road green.

The project establishes the conditions that must have the sidewalks, pavements, street lighting and electrical conduits of this execution unit, which covers an area of ​​about 35,700 square meters.

Of these, 24,000 will be used in a single block for tertiary use, similar to that already existing in the adjacent ships and in which shops or services may be installed.

For equipment and free spaces, some 6,000 square meters will be allocated, of which 4,000 will be a triangular green area, bordering the Santa Ana polygon. For the local road system, another 6,000 square meters will be reserved.

The project also includes the authorization of about 175 parking spaces.

TOURISM SCHOLARSHIPS

Finally, among other matters, the Governing Board has approved the bases and call for four scholarships for graduates or graduates in Tourism, in order to complete their practical training at the municipal tourist information offices.

The scholarships will last one year and each one will be endowed with a monthly gross aid of 1,000 euros.

The selection of the fellows will be done through an open process, whose bases and call will be published in the coming days.

The Local Government Board has been chaired by Vice Mayor Noelia Arroyo, given that the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, was in the Regional Assembly from the earliest hours to attend the debate on the Mar Menor.
