This weekend, young people will be the protagonists in 'Cartagena, month of fairs', which has been held since October 4 with stands located on the promenade next to the Heroes de Cavite square, with the Meeting of Youth Associations and the Handicraft Market by the Department of Youth of the City Council.
A total of 40 youth groups will be represented throughout the day on Saturday, October 19, with a meeting in which they will offer around 60 activities such as music, capoeira, dance, calisthenics, games and varied workshops.
The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, is scheduled to attend these activities together with the Councilor for Youth, David Martínez, at 11:00 a.m., which will later be joined by Deputy Mayor Noelia Arroyo, starting at 12 : 00.
On the other hand, the young artisans of the municipality will have their opportunity on Sunday 20 to show their work in the traditional market where they will sell handmade objects, such as jewelry, clothing, purses, decorative objects, soaps and natural cosmetics , prints, paintings or scented candles.
The market will begin at 10:00 am in these stands with Heroes de Cavite and will remain open until 8:00 pm.
