These works involve the replacement of luminaires with equipment and lamps of 250w SAP with new LED luminaires that will consume 61 w / unit.
In addition, the councilor has reported that "in the Plaza Ciudad de Mula nine lamps have been renovated where LED luminaires have also been installed."

CARTAGENA, MORE SUSTAINABLE AND EFFICIENT
Casajús stressed that "the Government's objective is to make Cartagena a more sustainable and efficient city and these works involve" a modernization of public lighting, optimizing resources and promoting energy savings to guarantee the best service to citizens, reducing light pollution and chromatic reproduction ”, as has already happened in areas such as Paseo Alfonso XIII, Reina Victoria Avenue and Plaza de Espańa, as well as in neighborhoods and districts of the municipality.
The works are being carried out gradually, during the weekends to minimize the annoying neighbors and the high level of traffic that this street has, and will be finished in a few weeks.
asajús recalled that "all the material that is removed and that is in good condition is being used to renovate damaged luminaires in the surrounding areas, such as Antonio Oliver Street".
The works of improvement of the public lighting will continue in the Angel Bruna street, where a total of 69 units will be replaced from the Plaza de Severo Ochoa to the Paseo Alfonso XIII.
