The Technical Office of the Municipal Plan on Addictions and Drug Dependencies (PMAD), belonging to the Department of Social Services, will collaborate for the second time with the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) with prevention actions aimed at the group of university students.
This collaboration will consist of the installation of a stand at the University Welcome of the course that will take place on Friday, October 18.
Through this booth, information on the consumption of alcohol and other drugs will be disseminated and symbolic measurements of alcohol will be made, with the slogan 'IF YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE FUN RESPONSIBLY ... YOU HAVE PRIZE'.
In this way the office will reward by means of a raffle with various gifts to those young adults who attend the party and participate in the symbolic measurements of alcohol and its rate is 0.
Responsible attitudes towards abusive use of alcohol and other drugs among the young population will also be promoted.
There will be a Photocall with advice on the Responsible Use of Alcohol and leaflets with these tips will be distributed.
The objective of these activities is to sensitize and raise awareness about the abuse of addictions, facilitate and improve the information of the risks produced by alcohol consumption and promote responsibility for the abuse of the drugs of greater consumption, creating “Conscious Conscious Consciousness Consciousness” .
These actions will be carried out in collaboration with volunteers from the Local Police and the Implica2 Program.
