A group of students from Lycée des métiers High School El Nivolet, in the city of Cambéry, near the historic capital of Savoy, visited the Miraculous Building and the offices of the Department of Social Services on the morning of October 16 , Equality and the ADLE.
The visit responds to the activities planned within the framework of the European Erasmus + program, which offers people of all ages the possibility of developing and sharing knowledge and experiences in institutions and organizations in different countries.
In this case, Lycée des métiers El Nivolet participates in this experience together with the Polytechnic Secondary Education Institute of Cartagena.
The objective of this joint participation is related to favoring and improving the autonomy of people with physical disabilities.
In this project, the students of the Lycée des métiers El Nivolet will design furniture and other objects adapted to people with disabilities and the students of the Polytechnic Secondary Education Institute will motorize or robotize these furniture, for example a kitchen countertop with motor.
During their visit to the Miraculous Building they have been received by the Councilor for Social Services, Mercedes García and have received a talk on Universal Accessibility from Manuel García, technical architect of FAMDIF.
