Badalona's flamenco artist and singer, Miguel Poveda, has made a stop on his tour to bring to Cartagena a more versatile show in the interpretations of the songs, but without neglecting his characteristic flamenco style.
This past Friday, October 11, in the Municipal Auditorium and Conference Center El Batel, his concert 'Intimate' was held, whose benefits were destined to the Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of Our Father Risen Jesus.
This concert was attended by the second deputy mayor, Manuel Padín, the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez, the Councilor Delegate for this area, Carlos Piñana and the Councilor Delegate for Tourism and Business, Cristina Pérez.
The City Council of Cartagena assigned to the Brotherhood of the Resurrected the use of the Auditorium for the performance of said action, whose benefits have been mainly destined to the adaptation and improvement of the stores in Mahón street.
This concert joins other initiatives such as verbenas, plays, poetry recitals, dances in discos, which began in 1944 with the aim of defraying the necessary expenses to maintain this Brotherhood.
Attendees enjoyed the songs dedicated to the Granada poet Federico García Lorca from the album 'Enlorquecido' and the thirty years of Poveda's discography in the album 'Time flies by'.
