The Extremadura dance will star this month in the Cartagena Jonda Flamenco Cycle.
One of the ones in charge of moving to Extremadura will be Mérida's bailaora, Fuensanta Blanco, which will be accompanied by a flamenco painting composed by the singers Ismael Solomando and Vicky González, and the guitarist Francis Gómez.
The performance will take place this Saturday, October 19, at 9:30 p.m., at the Mare Nostrum Restaurant.
This seventh edition of the Cycle has 9 cante and dance concerts in its program, including artists such as Enrique El Extremeño, La Kaita, Miguel Vargas, Raquel Cantero, Celia Romero or Fuensanta Blanco, among others, also a film series Flamenco, 2 conferences, 3 dance and 2 master classes, flamenco palms workshops, a trip to the city of Cáceres, and a permanent singing and guitar school throughout the year.
The Cycle is organized by the Peña Flamenca de Cartagena 'Antonio Piñana', with the collaboration of the Cartagena City Council and the Ministry of Education and Culture.
The concerts will take place at the Mare Nostrum Restaurant (Port of Cartagena), all courses at the Nuria Mas Dance Studio, and the flamenco film cycle at different venues in the city.
ABOUT FUENSANTA BLANCO
Born in Mérida, at eleven years of age she began her dance studies in Córdoba at the Professional Conservatory of Dance 'Luis del Río', finishing her specialty in Flamenco.
He has trained with the leading figures in the world of dance such as Eva Yerbabuena, Antonio Canales, El Junco, La Lupi, Moreno Africa, Antonio Correderas or Mercedes de Córdoba.
At sixteen, she is part of the Nosolodanza Young Company, directed by Nuria Leiva and choreographed by Rafael Estévez and Nani Paños.
He has participated in the 6th White Night of Flamenco with the show 'Those singing coffees'.
With the show 'Marismas', he was at the XIX Festival de Jerez.
He participated in two shows at the Flamenco Festival and Fado de Badajoz 2018. He has also performed at numerous Flamenco Festivals in Extremadura and Andalusia.

He has been part of the show 'Love sorcerer, fire and word', by the company La Fura Dels Baus, with the special collaboration of Marina Heredia and Esperanza Fernández.
He has recently premiered his first show 'La Merenguela'.
