Neighbors and social representatives participated yesterday in the eighth Public Advisory Panel organized by SABIC that served to inform the community of the company's activities and continue the dialogue.
The representatives of the company shared with the attendees the main current affairs of the industrial complex and collaborative activities in the community such as the open day for social associations in the area held in March, the program of student visits Education Secondary or the new scholarship program of the SABIC Spain Foundation launched this year.
In addition, the company has advanced information to the neighbors about the scheduled technical shutdown of the LX2 plant that will take place in the spring of 2020 to carry out work and improvement projects on safety and maintenance.
The Public Advisory Panel, which has been held for more than two years, is a channel for dialogue between the company and the neighbors, within the company's transparency and social commitment policy.
