The National Association of Dermatological Nursing and Investigation of Impaired Cutaneous Integrity (ANEDIDIC) organizes for the first time in Cartagena the National Congress of Dermatological Nursing.
The XV edition, which is entitled 'The skin, our reflection', will be held on October 24 and 25, with the support of the UCAM School of Nursing, through its Campus in Cartagena.
The Municipal Auditorium and Conference Center El Batel will be the place where hundreds of health professionals and nursing students will be able to know the latest developments and advances in dermatology and care of ulcers and wounds, by the hand of great health professionals in the current national scene.
The presentation of the congress on the skin took place on the morning of October 9 and was attended by the second deputy mayor, Manuel Padín, together with the president of ANEDIDIC, José Bonias and the president of the scientific committee, Javier Sánchez.
The second deputy mayor, Manuel Padín, explained that the purpose of this day is "to contribute to an update and continuous training in the area of ​​skin and diseases, which encourages the development of daily professional activity."
The president of ANEDIDIC, José Bonias, explained that the program will mainly focus on "skin disorders due to aging, such as tumors, their treatment and photoprotection."
In addition, he pointed out that other common issues will be addressed in previous congresses such as "the diabetic foot" and some novelties such as "atopic demartitis or psoriasis".
Finally, the president of the scientific committee, Javier Sánchez, has affirmed that "the skin is our way of relating to others, that is why this congress is necessary to know the necessary treatments to take care of it".
