Fashion, decoration, gifts, accessories and a wide variety of products will be the protagonists during this week in 'Cartagena, fair month', which is celebrated this October by the Department of Commerce of the City of Cartagena, in collaboration with the Port Authority and the Merchants 'Merchants' Associations.

The second deputy mayor and mayor of the Area of ​​Commerce and Tourism, Manuel Padín, has attended this morning the opening of the establishments with the vice president of the Association of Merchants, Fernando Ros, in addition to technicians of the council and representatives of the association responsible for the organization of the fair, where the traditional commerce of Cartagena will be in the center of the city this week and attendees will have good opportunities to find their products with great discounts.

"Hopefully it will be a success thanks to the visit of tourists from the cruise ships but also from neighborhood and county neighbors," Padín said before the opening.

The objective pursued by this fair, which is already serving ten editions, is to liquidate the seasonal product at the same time as to publicize its shops in a place as privileged and passing as it is the Town Hall Square, recalls the vice president of the Merchants Association.

The mayor has also recalled the follow-up of the projects that are already being carried out in terms of the Cartagena trade such as the remodeling of the Santa Florentina Market and that of Gisbert, but also the solution to the state of San Fernando Street or the Serreta.
