This Thursday October 10 begins the first activity of 'San Antón por el clima', within the framework of the Cartagena Piensa performances in Barrios.

This is the presentation of the project 'Cultivando San Antón', which will take place at 7:00 p.m., in the Casino of the neighborhood, and which will be attended by Mar Melgarejo, architect by the UPCT, and Lorena Rosique, environmentalist and awarded at the Awards Youth of the Region of Murcia 2018 for their project 'Vivens Hortis'.

The presentation of the project will be presented by Juani Pila, member of the Cartagena Piensa promoter group

The 'Cultivando San Antón' project is part of the neighborhood movement that seeks to improve the urban environment of the neighborhood, and which have been materialized as collaborative workshops, proposals and actions.

From this feeling, the neighbors have mobilized to build a collective space that materializes in a community garden, where participants can carry out activities, cultivate and where agro-ecological culture and eco-development will be promoted.

During this presentation, we will talk about the organization of the community garden, in which any person interested in the project can participate, and that will materialize with the realization of two workshops, on October 23 and November 13.

The 'San Antón por el clima' cycle is completed on Thursday, October 17 with the presentation of the 'Neighborhoods for the climate' initiative and on Wednesday, November 6, with the talk 'Climate change, the giant that threatens the Earth'.

Wednesday, October 23, 16: 30-18: 30 hours: Workshop 'Creation of the garden environment' (Solar orchard. Callejón with C / Aguamarina 21, 30310 Cartagena), Lorena Rosique.

Wednesday, November 6, 7:30 p.m.: Workshop 'Climate change, the giant that threatens the Earth' (Casino San Antón), Cayetano Gutiérrez.

Wednesday, November 13, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Workshop 'Parcelar con aromáticas' (Solar orchard. Alley with C / Aguamarina 21, 30310 Cartagena), Lorena Rosique.
