The Agency for Local Development and Employment of the City of Cartagena has opened the registration period for the fourth edition of the Generation Entrepreneurship program, so that anyone who has a business idea or needs help to launch a business project can register in this link .

“Generación Emprendedora is a free program of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Local Development of the ADLE, which includes a mixed itinerary of training and advice in business management with a very practical methodology, thus allowing the entrepreneur to acquire the necessary skills to develop his business projectâ€� , explained the Councilor for Employment and president of the ADLE, Irene Ruiz.

The fourth edition of Entrepreneurial Generation will take place from October 21 to November 21 and, during the program, entrepreneurship experts will lead workshops in digital marketing, social networks, business skills and business model.

Individualized tutorials are also carried out and networking sessions are organized, which favor the creation of relationships between the participants.

The mayor recalled the good results obtained in the previous editions "in which 35 people have already participated and have successfully launched business projects of different themes, such as personalized gifts, hairdressers, real estate services, pastries, disinfectant products, Latin food , gym, copy shop, clothing store, service companies, physiotherapy, training or rental management among others �.

Registration for this edition is open until October 16 and is limited to twenty people.

Irene Ruiz has stressed the importance of launching programs such as this that advise and encourage citizens to start their own businesses.

In fact, he concluded, “according to the GEM (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor) 2018-19 report, 55.6% of business abandonments are due to the lack of specific training to undertake.

With this program we intend to train people who wish to start a business to help them succeed. �
