The Agency for Local Development and Employment (ADLE) has already opened the deadline for submitting applications for the launch of a new edition of the ADLE Neighborhood program.
As explained by the Councilor for Employment and president of the ADLE, Irene Ruiz, this initiative “has as its primary objective the realization of occupational training activities both theoretical and practical, in the specialty of urban maintenance for unemployed people.
In this edition we have focused it for unemployed people both in Los Urrutias and Los Nietos, in order to get students to learn or expand a trade through training, as well as helping to mitigate the effects of DANA in both locations ” .
In this edition two ADLE Neighborhood programs will be carried out, which will begin on the same dates, one of them in Los Urrutias, with performances and unemployed students in the area, and in Los Nietos, under the same conditions.
What since
“The training they will receive will be both theoretical in the classroom where the modules for the prevention of occupational hazards, masonry, painting, plumbing, etc., will be given as practice, in which students will learn in their own neighborhood to put in practice, what was studied in the theoretical classes, thus improving their possibilities of access to the labor market and thus contributing to improve the urban aspect of the neighborhood, ”said Ruiz.
THE URRUTIAS
The practices that will be carried out in Los Urrutias consist of the arrangement of the outdoor terrace and garden of the Social Local, painted by the library and the basketball court of said premises, arrangement of the gardens of the Plaza de Mxico, and the adaptations of both the Trovo garden and the Plaza del Navegante.
THE GRANDSONS
As for Los Nietos, the improvements will consist of painting arrangements, bank repair and cleaning of gardens in Plaza del Ancla, Plaza del Pescador and Plaza de San Miguel, Nietos Viejos.
In addition to the arrangement of broken and raised slabs in some of the streets.
The deadline for submitting applications will be open from October 4 to 14 of the same month, as the program is scheduled to begin on October 16 and end the month of December.
Throughout their training, students will also receive guidance for employment, on how to prepare your resume, find work online, training, public and private employment.
In support of training, students will receive a scholarship of 10 euros per day of assistance to the training action.
Once the program is finished, the students' curricula will be incorporated into the ADLE Placement Agency database.
