The Torres de Cartagena Auditorium was only once on Saturday, October 5 in El Grito in favor of ASIDO Cartagena, the Association of Comprehensive Care for People with Down Syndrome and their families.
This solidarity concert brought together two groups from the Region, Hams with Heels and Karmacadabra, who presented all their talent and energy on stage.
The event has been supported by the Cartagena City Council.
The Torres Park Auditorium presented a good entrance, with more than half the full capacity.
Among the attendees were the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, the vice mayor and councilor of the Area of ​​Social Welfare Noelia Arroyo and the Councilor for Social Services Mercedes García.
The musical event has served to commemorate the 25th anniversary of ASIDO Cartagena.
The concert also aimed to raise public awareness of social integration since childhood.
Likewise, the proceeds from El Grito have been allocated to the association's funds.
This group seeks that children with Down Syndrome can learn in ordinary classrooms and have equal educational opportunities.
