The Statistics and Population service of the City Council of Cartagena exhibits between September 30 and October 7 the lists of the electoral census that will be used in the General Elections of November 10 in the municipality of Cartagena.
Said census is composed of persons of Spanish nationality, over 18 years of age and domiciled in the municipality, with the right to vote totaling 153,052 voters.
The census shown reflects the changes in registration and changes of residence registered in the Statistics service, until June 27, 2019.
During the process the registrations and changes of address that have been made later, within the same province will be accepted.
As in previous editions, data inquiries must be carried out personally by those interested by going during office hours, from 8.30 to 13 hours, to the Statistics units (Calle Ronda de La Unión) or to the Information and Attention Office Citizen (Administrative Building of San Miguel).
It can also be consulted in the OMITAS of the neighborhoods and councils, in the opening hours and days of each of them
In all these cases, citizens, provided with their national identity document, can verify that they are included in the census, with their name, surname and address, as well as the school where they can exercise their right to vote.
The consultation will be assisted by a municipal official, who will guarantee data protection.
If an error is observed, a form will be provided for them to make the corresponding claim that the City Council will process before the Electoral Census Office.
Another way of consultation will be that of the Internet, through the page of the City Council (www.cartagena.es), which will only allow the consultation of the inclusion in the census and the school where to vote, and not the rest of the data.
