This Monday, September 30, begins the Cultural Week of the Club de Alores de Alumbres, organized in collaboration with the Department of Social Services of the City of Cartagena.
The inauguration will begin at 19 hours at the Club of the Third Age of Alumbres. At that time, an exhibition on crafts and oil paintings will be opened.
There will also be a tribute to the partners of the entity.
To culminate the inaugural act, there will be a performance by the rondalla and choir of Alumbres.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón;
the vice mayor and councilor of the Area of ​​Social Welfare of Cartagena Noelia Arroyo;
the mayor of Social Services Mercedes García and the councilor of the Area of ​​Citizen Security, Public Road and Festivities Juan Pedro Torralba are planning to attend the inauguration.
On Tuesday, October 1 at 6:00 p.m. a parade will begin with the collection of the 2018 and 2019 misses by the Cartagena charanga.
Then, the court of honor will be crowned and a dance will be celebrated enlivened by the duo Minerva.
On Wednesday October 2 at 9 am a hiking trail will begin.
At 6 pm, a large family lottery will take place.
On Thursday, October 3 at 6 p.m. the charanga will once again go out through the streets of Alumbres.
At 9:30 p.m., there will be a living patch in the Church Square.
Next, chocolate with buns will be served for all attendees.
On Friday, October 4 from 5 pm the grandparents' day will be celebrated in the social premises.
Sweets will be distributed to all the children attending.
On Saturday, October 5 at 2:00 pm there will be a convivial meal in the sports hall for 1 euro.
At 19 hours there will be a dance enlivened by the music of the Barceló duet.
On Sunday, October 6 at 11 am a mass will be held in honor of the deceased members of the Club of the Elderly.
At noon the vermouth dance will be held in the casino.
At 5:30 p.m. there will be a family lottery.
Then the cultural week of the Club of Elders of Alumbres will be closed with the great final berth and end of festivities.
