This Monday, September 23, registration is open to participate in the third edition of UrbanCTFest, framed in the UrbanCt program of the Department of Youth, which will be held on November 9 with the aim of making sports and culture visible in Cartagena.

All artists and groups that practice any modality and wish to participate in the different modalities of competitions or exhibitions, can register until the same day of the event.

Thus, the festival has as its main characteristic its participatory character, promoting not only the competition and the show, but also creating a space for living together.

The UrbanCtFest will develop its activities throughout the day on November 9, with a unique location, the Urban Sports Park located on Carlos III Street, and formed by competitions, exhibitions, as well as an urban market area.

Competitions: Beatbox, LoopStation, Graffiti, StreetArt, Dijing, Scratch, Battle of MCs and Skate, consult specific bases of each.

Exhibitions: Parkour and Freerunning, Breaking, Tricking, Rap, Scooter, Bmx, Calisthenics, WorkOut, Inline Skate, Urban Dance, Trialbici, Slackline, Krump, Bodypainting and Tattoo (so far the first and only authorized exhibition held at a festival in the Region of Murcia).

Graffiti, Parkour and Slackline workshops will be held during the day.

Alternative leisure is one of the basic principles of the UrbanCT program for this reason and in collaboration with the Department of Social Services and within the Municipal Plan on Addictions and Drug Dependencies, a stand will be set up with activities to raise awareness and inform about the dangers of its consumption .

To end the day, the event will feature performances by Neusi and Aryón with DJ Charlybcn, for the first time in Cartagena.

The inscriptions will be made until the same day November 9 through the web of youth.cartagena.es following the bases of the contest or in the email urbanct@ayto-cartagena.es, as well as in the official profile that the program has on Instagram through your account @ Urban.CT.
