The Mediterranean beaches of La Manga and Cabo de Palos, in the municipality of Cartagena, have opened to the bathroom today Friday, after the specimens of dead tunas that had reached the shore from a fattening farm have been removed from the sand located off the coast and dissipated the bad smell.
The same company from the tuna farm has been responsible for removing the dozens of copies that have been arriving since last weekend.
The City Council of Cartagena following the recommendations of the Ministry of Health decided to close the beaches last Sunday.
The services of the Coast have been responsible during these days to clean the sand and dissipate the strong smell that had occurred.
The City Council of Cartagena has decided to reopen the beaches and enable a system for the company to remove it immediately in the event that any other tuna appears.
