The Market Bureau of the City of Cartagena publishes on Sunday, September 22, the call for two procedures aimed at street vendors in the municipality.
On the one hand, the call for licenses for posts in the new market of Los Urrutias to be held on Saturdays (from September 16 to June 30) for a period of 12 years renewable for another 12 years.
This market was approved by the Local Government Board of May 22, 2019 in order to improve the commercial and economic offer of the municipality, create employment in Cartagena and respond to the requirement of the Association of Neighbors of Los Urrutias.
On the other hand, the call for improvements related to job changes within the same market and relocations of certain sales positions in the Ribera de San Javier market: positions 232 and 207, and in Cabo de Cabo, is also published. Sticks: positions nº 244, 245, 246 and 247.
The adjudication of the improvements is, according to the Municipal Ordinance, prior to the public announcement of vacancies, so that once awarded, the positions that are free will be offered in a public call so that any citizen can access them, adjudicating them finally, based on the system of assessment that is included in Annex V of the Ordinance regulating street or non-sedentary sales in the municipality of Cartagena.
In the past year, the improvement procedure was called and vacancies were subsequently awarded in the markets of El Algar, La Aljorra, Los Belones, Minor Islands, Isla Plana, Llano de Beal, La Palma, Pozo Estrecho and Los Urrutias.
The announcement of the publication of both procedures will be carried out on the bulletin board of the municipal website on Sunday, September 22, with the deadline for calling from September 23 to October 11, 2019.
