The Municipal Archive of Cartagena has chosen as a document of the month of September a registry of reapers, agriculture and livestock of the city dating from the seventeenth century.
As video of the month, an interview conducted by Tele Cartagena to the writer Arturo Pérez Reverte was chosen in 1988.
The registry of reapers, agriculture and livestock was a list where there were names and surnames of a series of people related to this guild.
The majority came from Castilla-La Mancha.
The authorities of the Council proceeded to register the names of these workers, since most were not residents of Cartagena.
Reapers, farmers and ranchers came to mow in several areas of the municipality in a timely manner.
As video of the month, the Municipal Archive of Cartagena has selected an interview with local writer Arturo Pérez Reverte on Tele Cartagena in 1988. In it, Arturo Pérez Reverte spoke about his work as a journalist, reporter and special envoy to different places of the world.
In addition, the interview dealt with his facet as a writer.
In 1988, Pérez Reverte was 37 years old and had already written two novels: 'El Husar' and 'El fencing master'.
The interview is about 20 minutes long.
