Los Dolores celebrates its patron saint festivities from last Friday the 6th and until September 15 with a program full of activities for the whole family, music and sports championships in honor of the Virgen de los Dolores.
A large parade through the streets of the neighborhood next to the opening of the fairground and the proclamation, which was given by Ángeles Martínez, director of the IES San Isidoro, began the celebration of the celebrations on Friday night, next to a dance enlivened by the Dolce Vita trio and the coronation of this year's Court.
On Saturday, the 'Sports Day' was celebrated with petanque and soccer championships, a Pilates and Zumba marathon workshop next to the II edition of the Night Solidarity March of Los Dolores, ending the day with a contest of crumbs and music to Fussion Show group charge.
The Romería was the protagonist of Sunday with masses in honor of the pilgrims, parade of carriages and the Virgin, horse race, along with a great paella, music and sevillanas contest.
The elders celebrate this Monday, September 9, their day with a championship of parcheesi and board games and various activities together with the smallest, dance and concert exhibitions of the Sun Kings.
On Tuesday it will be the children's turn with half-price fair attractions, costumes and games with water balloon warfare and foam party, followed by Equality Day on Wednesday with animations and dancing with the Jema group .
The students of the IES Isidoro will meet on Thursday 12 at the First Meeting of Young Researchers, a day dedicated to shows and varieties with Los Dolores Talent Show and performances of humor, magic and dance, together with a craft market that will open throughout the weekend until the end of parties.
Friday 13 will be the Day of Terror with a Passage of Terror at the fairgrounds and Stolen in concert, followed by the big day on Saturday 14 with activities throughout the day with a March on wheels, Gyncana, Paellas contest, Triangular football Juvenile, II Canine Contest and concerts by the Music Unit of the San Javier General Air Academy and the Royal Music Show Orchestra.
The celebrations will end on Sunday the 15th with the Patron's Day with an offering of flowers and procession in honor of the Virgen de los Dolores, along with a concentration of cars and great dance enlivened by the Duo Minerva, putting an end to the day a pasodobles contest and a great fireworks castle.
