Around 350 young people gathered this Saturday, September 7, in the Town Hall Square on the many tracks that were installed on the occasion of the 3x3 Caixabank basketball circuit.

Distributed in a total of 85 teams, the participants gathered more than 3 thousand people in the vicinity of the City Hall during the whole day, between companions and the public, with 160 games distributed on the tracks of CaixaBank and that of Universo Mujer from 10 morning hours continuously until 6 pm.

The ambassador of the Spanish Basketball Federation, Fernando Romay, did not want to miss this appointment, accompanied by the vice mayor, Noelia Arroyo, and the councilor Diego Ortega, both of the Sports Area of ​​the City of Cartagena.

Cartagena was, thus, the sixth stop of this circuit 2019, after having passed through Ávila, Melilla, Logroño, Pamplona and Palma, organized in collaboration with the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena, by the Basketball Federation of the Region of Murcia , the Spanish Basketball Federation, Universo Mujer Basketball and CaixaBank.
