The Los Dolores Campus adds this initiative to the one announced in July of being the only center in the Region where the University Degrees of Physical Activity and Sports and Physical Therapy Sciences can be taken in parallel next month. a curriculum that contemplates achieving both degrees with simultaneous studies in 6 years.
The Campus of the San Antonio Catholic University in Cartagena announced today that, with the new course that begins this September, it will not only implement simultaneous studies of the degrees in Sports Science and Physiotherapy at the Los Dolores Campus, as already announced in July, but will also launch the program of simultaneous studies of CAFD and Primary Education to obtain, at the same time, the two university degrees in only 5 years.
In this sense, the UCAM has designed a curriculum that combines the necessary training to achieve the official training granted by these two Degrees, which will allow a more complete preparation of students, which will facilitate them to compete in the labor market with training specialized, especially as a physical education teacher, and even greater options in different oppositions, by having two access roads and two higher degrees.
Although the UCAM Campus in Cartagena will also continue to individually teach the degrees of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and that of Primary Education Teaching, to be completed in 4 years each, students may choose to enroll from the first year and during 5 courses in the study program coordinated by the Faculty of Sports and Social Sciences, in the same way that will be done with simultaneous studies with Physiotherapy for 6 years.
In this way, it is pursued that future graduates not only increase their employability possibilities, already high in these two degrees, both in the public sector and in educational centers, sports clubs and private companies, as well as greater options for profitability in their self-employment projects in which they can combine techniques of both professions depending on the client and their objectives, for which they would be advised by the university itself.
