The Agency for Local Development and Employment of the City Council of Cartagena summons 15 places for a lifeguard course and nautical sports monitor.
This ADLE course has a teaching load of 332 hours and 20 practical hours, will begin on September 19 and end on December 27, the schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 2 pm.
Students will have a scholarship for transportation.
This course is framed within the Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development Strategy “La Manga Abierta 365”, promoted by the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure of the Region of Murcia.
The course organized by the ADLE is co-financed at 80% by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and by 20% by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, in which the City Councils of Cartagena and San Javier collaborate.
Students will receive the basic knowledge to perform functions of: lifeguard in aquatic facilities (100 hours), lifeguard specialist in beaches (100 hours), first emergency intervention (40 hours), a basic life support course CPR and DESA (12 hours) , sail starter monitor (20 hours), canoe starter monitor (20 hours) and rowing starter monitor (20 hours), as well as a basic boat navigation title (20 hours).
All this includes the federative insurance and licenses of each federation.
With this course, students will be able to work in the different nautical schools and nautical clubs of La Manga, as well as in the swimming pools of hotels and beaches in the area.
The requirements to access the course are: being unemployed and enrolled in the offices of the SEF, preferably residing in La Manga and having the title of ESO.
Until next September 17 will be open the registration period of the course "Lifeguard and nautical sports monitor" that will be taught in the Consortium of La Manga del Mar Menor.
