The Finance and Interior Commission, meeting this morning, under the chairmanship of the councilor of the area, Esperanza Nieto, has favorably reported the compatibility for this 2019-2023 legislature of councilors José López Martínez and Carlos Piñana, with the exercise of their public activities and private

In the case of José López, the green light has been given to make his activity as Councilor of the City Council of Cartagena compatible with that of the attorney of a commercial company.

In this case the opinion has had the favorable votes of its group MC Cartagena and the United We-Left United-Equo;

and abstentions of PP, PSOE, Citizens and Vox.

In the case of Carlos Piñana, the compatibility of his partial dedication as a Councilor of the Government with his public activity as a conservatory teacher and the private guitar concertist has been favorably reported.

For the compatibility of their public activity, they voted in favor of PP, PSOE, Citizens and United We Can United Left Equal, abstaining MC Cartagena and Vox.

While for private compatibility the same positions have been repeated, except United We Can, which has abstained.

REMUNERATION OF DIRECTIVES

Following the account of the creation of the governing bodies of Urban Planning Coordinator, General Director Public and Interior Employment and General Director of Strategic Projects of Historical-Artistic and Cultural Heritage, by the Local Government Board, the Commission has ruled favorably on the remuneration of these charges.

In the cases of the general directors of Public and Internal Employment and of Strategic Projects of Historical-Artistic and Cultural Heritage, they have proposed a remuneration equal to those that came receiving these same positions in the previous legislature and that coincide with the perceptions that as officials charged the two public employees of the City Council that have been appointed and are estimated at 61,069 euros gross per year.

The managerial position of Urban Planning coordinator has registered an update of the CPI, since it was frozen since 2017, and will have a gross annual remuneration of 59,468 euros.

The remuneration proposal has had the favorable votes of PP, PSOE and Citizens;

and the abstentions of MC Cartagena, Vox and Unidos Podemos Izquierda Unida Equo.
