Cabo de Palos dismissed the month of August this past weekend with its popular festivals organized by the Association of Women Virgen del Mar, the Fishermen's Association and the Association of Neighbors, with the collaboration of the Department of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena.
The program of activities, which took place on Friday 30 and Saturday 31, included sardines, inflatables for the little ones, batucada, foam party and mobile disco.
The celebrations had the presence on their last day of the Councilor for Social Services, Mercedes Garcia.
The attractions were on the esplanade of the port, next to the boathouse.
Initially they were going to take place next to the Wall of Salt, but at the last minute the work of rescue of the Turia cazaminas has prevented it.
The Navy has had to use this space to deposit the equipment and rescue material.
From the municipal services of Celebrations, Public Safety and Public Road, the necessary measures were taken to facilitate the change of location and finally allow the celebration of the festivities.
