"Adapting to the new lines that should be marked by municipal action: sustainability and concern for the environment; favoring economic well-being; as well as the solidarity and quality of life of citizens, without forgetting the impulse to economic growth and employment."
Under these premises, the Councilor of MC Cartagena, Isabel García, has advanced the sense of the motion presented by her formation in the next Plenary so that "the local government incorporates them into its proposal for approval of the fiscal ordinances of 2020".
Thus, the mayor of Cartagena has recalled the performance of his training during the first three years of the last legislature to "reduce the tax burden on companies and individuals, as well as administrative burdens. We move away from previous policies where citizens, by force if the tax and administrative pressure increased, they were forced to reconcile the municipal budget. "
Then, Garcia has begun to specify the claims of MC Cartagena.
"One of the first measures to be adopted in the Property Tax (IBI) is to eliminate the cadastral value limit set at 90,000 euros to qualify for the large family bonus."
Bonus respectful attitudes towards the environment
In relation to environmental respect and sustainability, the mayor has stated that "in addition, a bonus (which could be 50%) should be established for real estate in which systems have been installed for the thermal or electrical use of energy coming from the sun. "
Similarly, MC advocates "the 75% discount of the fee for electric motorcycles in the Tax on Vehicles of Mechanical Traction."
The Cartagena councilor has continued to argue the reasons for "increasing the bonuses in the Tax on Construction, Facilities and Works for job creation for SMEs and freelancers who carry out works, while encouraging the burial of the unsightly cables that cross many facades."
Reduction of the amount of fees
Subsequently, Isabel García has delved into a battery of proposals to "serve the hospitality sector including a specific street map for the terraces; facilitate the reduction of the civil marriage rate and registration in the Register of De facto Unions for the unemployed or decrease the responsible declaration of Trade Activities, not forgetting an improvement and greater dissemination of the Personalized Payment Plan that MC implemented. "
García has concluded by stating that "all these proposals are reasonable and prioritize actions aimed at consolidating ourselves as a municipality aware of environmental respect while contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of the neighbors and encouraging employment generation."
