The Summer Pools of the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena come to an end with the end of the month of August.

So this Thursday 29, the morning group of the little ones of the morning shift of the pool of the House of Youth will perform the last activities with fathers and mothers, in which they have had the opportunity to enjoy multiple games with their children;

while, at 5:30 p.m., the closing ceremony of the other group will also take place at the Youth House and, lastly, on Friday 30, at 11:30 a.m., that of Pozo Estrecho.

The Councilor for Sports, Diego Ortega, will attend the closing of the afternoon shift at the Youth House and on Friday morning at Pozo Estrecho to deliver the diplomas ending this 2019 Swimming Campaign, in which they participated About 1,000 children and young people in these two pools along with that of La Aljorra.

Coordinated from the Area of ​​Promotion and Management of sports activities, the campaign aims to implement the program with pedagogical criteria adapting the teaching methodology to different ages.

The main objective is to teach the basic notions of swimming from an early age and motivate outdoor sports, where a total of 14 monitors have been made available to the entire campaign, along with 8 lifeguards and qualified maintenance personnel to the treatment and conservation of the aquatic facilities of the Department of Sports.
