The flags of the Consistorial Palace of Cartagena today wave at half-mast due to the death of the flight instructor of the General Air Academy, Francisco Marín Núñez, in the tragic accident recorded yesterday Monday off the coast of La Manga del Mar Menor.

The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has decreed Tuesday official mourning day in the City of Cartagena, as a sign of sympathy and solidarity with the family and the armed forces, and in recognition for her participation as a member of the Eagle Acrobatic Patrol in various events held in the municipality of Cartagena.
