Great satisfaction within the UCAM Athletics Cartagena to publish the Spanish Federation list of enrolled in the 4x400 women relay where the women's team representing the departmental has sneaked into the final to be held on August 31 and September 1 in La Nucia (Alicante).
On July 13 the athletes Marta Meroño, Lidia Sánchez, Eva María Aragón and Laura Rodríguez, beat the absolute record with a time of 3: 52.92, this time has given them access to the National Absolute and to be among the best teams in Spain.
In the Championship of Spain Absolute of La Nucia, Lidia Sánchez will be discharged due to discomfort in her hip and Pruden Guerrero will occupy her position, with the young Lorena Romero and the heptathlete Patricia Quesada going on reservations.
With these six girls complete the group of 10 athletes that will also consist of the decathletes Sergio Jornet and Pablo Diaz who will do the combined tests, Ruben Salinas in the 200 meters, the captain of the women's team Blanca Peñuelas in 100 meters and Laura Rodriguez in the 400 individual.
They will be accompanied by technicians Patricia Paz and Antonio Peñalver, in addition to the physiotherapist Genaro Zapata.
