The Vice President of the Government and Minister of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy, Isabel Franco, met today with representatives of the Association of Professional Women, Researchers and Entrepreneurs of Cartagena (Ampiec), headed by its president, Ascensión García, within the round of contacts that he is maintaining with social agents of the Region of Murcia and he promised to “give greater visibility to this groupâ€.
Isabel Franco said of this association, which is about to turn one year, that “women entrepreneurs and professionals are enriched with the contribution of researchers, which is an area in which it is very important to work on equality and that we will include among the priorities of the Ministry â€.
The vice president acknowledged that "we have many common concerns with Ampiec, such as the full development of the Regional Equality Law, which includes the implementation of the Equality Observatory of the Region of Murcia."
Likewise, the head of Women pointed out that “we are going to study in detail all the proposals that Ampiec has sent us regarding conciliation and gender violence and we will work with sensitivity to incorporate them into our strategic linesâ€.
The meeting was also attended by María Inmaculada Noguera Salinas and Isabel Bernal Belmonte, members of the board of directors of Ampiec.
