POPULATION ADVICE
From Local Police, Firefighters and Civil Protection will also be attentive to the evolution of this cold drop forecast and the usual recommendations have been issued to the population, such as:
Stay informed at all times through the media and official sources
Place all toxic products at home, out of reach of water
Clean the roof, downspouts and sinks of any accumulation of leaves or soil, which hinders the passage of water to the sewer
Have a flashlight, radio and batteries on hand
Remove from the outside of the house, everything that can be dragged
Do not park or camp in dry channels, or on the river bank
Avoid driving on roads near riverbeds or crossing bridges where the water runs, before a possible flood
Never cross flooded places by car even if you know your route perfectly, move your vehicle along a flooded road or cross a bridge hidden by the water, since the force of the water could drag the vehicle and even the road may be out of order
If the vehicle is submerging in the water and encounters difficulties in opening the door, exit through the windows without wasting time.
