This next September starts a new Flamenco Cycle of Cartagena Jonda from the hand of the flamenco club of Cartagena 'Antonio Piñana' with activities and recitals that will be held in our city throughout the year.
All this under the guiding thread of showing the flamenco of the entire Spanish geography as well as its artists and culture, focusing this VII edition in Extremadura.

Since 2013, when the first edition of the cycle dedicated to the commemoration of the Centenary of the birth of Antonio Piñana was celebrated, every year different flamenco styles have been shown passing through Cordoba, Seville, Cádiz, Malaga and Granada.
As is tradition, the cycle will be carried out by its recitals with songs from the east that will begin on September 14 and will bring artists such as Antonio Porcuna, Fuensanta Blanco, Enrique el Extremeño, Raquel Cantero, Yasaray Rodríguez, the young Celia Romero or the Vargas saga.
All of them will be hosted by the Mare Nostrum in the Port of Cartagena with free admission for subscribers of the rock and with a price between 10 and 15 euros for the rest of the public.
The cycle will be accompanied by cinema with the screening of documentaries and films related to the history of flamenco that will be accompanied by recitals from the 'Antonio Piñana' school of the rock, as well as lectures, singing and palms courses, dance masterclass and Flamenco classes that will be taught at the Nuria Mas Dance Studio and whose inscriptions are still open.
