A total of 65 people are the protagonists of the new mobile application created by Soldecocos, composed of sound testimonies and photographs that value our rural and cultural heritage and that have been collected from the Sierra de La Muela Natural Protected Area. , Cabo Tioso and Roldn over five months.
The informants have met thanks to the associations of neighbors of the different areas and tell their experiences together with photographs of the way of life in the villages, as well as folk festivals, flora and fauna, oral tradition, agriculture, livestock or fishing, including new initiatives such as 'Flavors of Tallante' with traditional recipes.
The app has been presented this Tuesday, August 20 at the Town Hall by the delegate mayor of Sustainable City and European Projects and representative of Campoder, Cristina Mora, along with the general director of Agricultural Funds and Rural Development and responsible for the program of Rural Development, Carmen Sandoval.
On behalf of the Soldecocos association, its director, Jorge Sez, attended with the head of the Rural Environment of this Society for the Development of Coastal Communities and creator of the project, Natalia Martn, who explained the development of the project in compliance with the objective of creating tools for the empowerment of rural society by making the people who make it up and who have grown there be the protagonists and be able to spread their knowledge.
“Our rural heritage is a heritage that has a lot of identity and this audio guide is essential to empower it with routes that have not existed to date and that have been forged through 65 testimonies that are the true protagonists,” says the mayor during the presentation, “With it, we have managed to leave an inheritance and have opted for a rural tourism experience”.

The app can be downloaded using a QR code available for Android and iOS that will be disseminated through posters throughout the Sierra de La Muela, Cabo Tioso and Roldn Protected Natural Area as well as in social premises in the area.
All audioguide is available in Spanish and English and is structured by towns with a geo-referenced map with points that access the exhibition and testimonies and other parts of existing paths in the territory with their routes and other audio with what you can find in them.
Also add legends, milestones, informational brochures in a Storymap.
With the aim of forming future guides and creating employment, Soldecocos also carried out a training module based on this audio guide.
BETTIC CARTAGENA ETHNONATURE
This mobile application is framed within the project EtnoNatura Btica Cartagena that is being developed in the Sierra de La Muela, Cabo Tioso and Roldn Protected Natural Area.
It is financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (63%) and the Murcia Region (37%) through the Rural Development Program of the Murcia Region 2017-2021 and within the framework of the Participatory Local Development Strategy (EDLP ) "Campoder Territory: growing together."
Within this program, there are a total of four local action groups at the regional level, with Campoder being the group in the Cartagena area, in which all of them have as their primary objective to diversify the activity in rural areas, mainly agrarian, and fight against depopulation
Campoder occupies 20% of the regional territory with a total of 60 population entities with the City of Cartagena in the position of vice president.
In the selective project process last 2018-19, he received a total of 95 applications to undertake new initiatives, of which 48 have been granted to public and private projects.
