José López: "Children's health is not a priority. They forget about asbestos"
Today, the newspaper La Verdad has reported on the priorities of the Ministry of Education for Cartagena that are limited to the expansion of the Institute of Secondary Education 'Los Molinos' and the Integrated Center for Vocational Training (CIFP) 'Hespérides' , as well as the project of the new school of La Aljorra.
After knowing the intention of the Ministry, the spokesman of the municipal group MC Cartagena, José López, has highlighted that "the first surprise is that the health of children is not a priority, since they forget about asbestos," valuing Ironic tone as "a successful mediation of Arroyo in this matter, no doubt."
Therefore, he added "there is the Platform for the removal of asbestos one more reason to increase the tone of the claim."
As for the expansion of the Hesperides, he recalled that "it has been budgeted since 2016 and nothing has been done in four budget years; the figures say it all, more than four million euros have been announced as investment and 23,000 have been spent" .
Regarding the IES 'Los Molinos', López explained that "in Molinos Marfagones they have only been selling the extension for two years, what happens is that they have not budgeted it in 2019. We hope that 2020 is their year".
Aljorra College
In relation to the new school of La Aljorra, the Cartagena spokesman has indicated that "it deserves a different criticism, since since being mayor we acquired the new land, at the beginning of 2017, the Ministry has not presented the draft, an obvious sign that they are playing with the educational community of this council and that it is far from being a priority. "
To do this, "they have the complicity of 'La Trinca' because, in September 2017, Castejón announced with the then counselor, Adela Martínez Cachá, the beginning of the works and was a lie, while Arroyo, who was responsible for propaganda of the regional government, now it is the PNOE that governs us. "
Given this situation, José López has concluded by advancing that "in the next plenary session, we will ask if the Ministry has initiated the change of land use, and on what date, as well as if, in case of not having done so, there is a municipal claim later in addition to the one he made in 2017, our mayor María José Soler, because we are very afraid that they continue to laugh at La Aljorra trio ".
