The mayor of Cartagena Ana Belén Castejón and the vice mayor and councilwoman of the area of ​​Sports Noelia Arroyo have received the winners of this national sports event, led by the skipper and owner of the ship, José Coello Núñez, a native of Cartagena.
Coello Núñez has been accompanied by the president of the Real Club de Regattas de Cartagena, José García-Bravo and his sailing vocal, Carlos González-Costea.
The team has offered the first mayor and the vice mayor of the city the trophy won in Palma de Mallorca on August 3.
Cartagena Mayor Ana Belén Castejón wanted to congratulate the team on behalf of all citizens for being a reason for "pride and satisfaction."

In addition, Coello Núñez affirms that they have managed to “be one of the most combined crews of those in Class 2 of the ORCâ€.
This victory in the Copa del Rey de Vela is the first to get a Cartagena boat in this competition.
The trajectory of El Carmen in this tournament already had several podiums.
In the 2015 edition, he got the second position.
In 2016, it was fourth, and in the last two years, it finished in third position.
The history of the winning vessel of the Copa del Rey de Vela 2019 is linked to Cartagena.
The sailing cruiser was designed and built by Cartagena coach José Coello Núñez.
With the support of naval engineers from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, the ship was perfected.
In addition, a part of the crew has been trained at the Real Regatta Club of Cartagena, among others in the Region of Murcia.
