Last Sunday, August 18, the Cartagena Firefighters Coordination Center was notified of a fire in an abandoned premises in the Santa Lucía neighborhood.
It was the neighbors who gave the warning at 23.39 hours due to the smoke coming out in a ground floor of Francisco Jorquera Street, where they went to quell the fire inside of unknown origin.
Its extinction was difficult and dangerous, so the operation lasted about an hour and a half, since the flames had spread throughout the premises, leaving great material damage inside.
