Some 630 people have attended the workshops that have been organized since 2009 since the launch of the European Projects Office of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT).
Specifically, the Office has organized 25 training activities, including workshops and seminars.
Researchers have received training in basic aspects on how to participate in the main European programs in which the UPCT is immersed, as well as in cross-cutting issues to all research projects and that improve the impact of their results on the society.
Among others Research ethics, intellectual property, data management, communication or gender issues.
In addition, informative actions have been organized on specific calls for topics of greatest interest to the R&D groups of the UPCT.
In addition to that, the head of the European Projects Office comments that another objective of the workshops carried out is to create networks among researchers so that they can create synergies and collaborate on multidisciplinary projects.
From here at the end of the year it is planned to organize four more courses, one of them is scheduled for the beginning of September, on September 10 and 11, and will focus on the Erasmus + program.
The objective is to improve the writing of proposals in this program.

Part of these training actions are funded by the project of revitalization of the Mare Nostrum Campus 37/38 (CMN) within the RIS3MUR Initiative, financed under the ERDF Operational Program of the Region of Murcia2014-2020, Line of Action 2 : "Advice, search for partners and international R&D financing".
The Polytechnic University of Cartagena, is a beneficiary of this assistance granted by the Ministry of Employment, Universities and Enterprise of the CARM, through direct grant by Decree 262/2017.
