The Salesianos school in Los Dolores becomes a Urban Camp for a week in which more than a hundred kids between 6 and 14 years old enjoy a few days of living together and entertaining, while receiving training and learning values.
The initiative, which meets its fifth edition, is organized by the Don Bosco Youth Federation and the ANIMA Sociocultural Association, and has the collaboration of the City Council through the Department of Social Services, which through its Family program, detects the most suitable children to participate in this summer activity.
This was explained by the deputy mayor and mayor of the Social Welfare Area, Noelia Arroyo, who on Tuesday August 6 has toured the camp facilities to be able to check closely the activities that are carried out there, not forgetting the work done by volunteers' during This week they are taught to live together and receive the support of about 30 volunteers, with time for discipline and training but also for leisure. '
The Salesianos Urban Camp takes place from August 1 to 7, in workshops from 10.00 to 19.00 hours, with workshops, games, group activities and also for families.
