El Carmolí, from the town of Los Urrutias, celebrates its popular festivities, from Tuesday 6 to Sunday, August 18, with activities designed for all ages, which will not lack sports championships, dancing and many competitions.
The parties are organized by the Association of Neighbors El Carmolí, in collaboration with the Department of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena.
The festivities will begin on Tuesday, August 6 with the screening of a film, where attendees can taste sweet and savory popcorn and hot dogs.
As of August 1, the registration period will be open to sign up for the different activities and championships (swimming,
mus, dominoes, adult and children's parcheesi, tennis, small soccer, petanque, Basketball 3 vs 3 (without referee), triple contest) that will take place in the town during the 12 holidays.
On Wednesday, August 7, at the Real, the traditional Table Games Night will be held, where several games such as Monopoly, the mystery of Beijing or chess will be installed with the canteen open to the audience.
From the organization they indicate that within the establishment the use of machines and mobiles is prohibited.
The next day, the cinema returns with a tribute to Mexico, where, in addition to the screening of the film, attendees can taste one of the typical dishes of Mexican cuisine, such as burritos.
On Sunday, August 11, the swimming championship, the tasting of the welcome michirones in the pool and the single vs married soccer match will take place.
From Monday 12 to Wednesday 14, numerous activities have been scheduled such as the sand castle contest, on the beach in front of the Yacht Club, the children's and youth gymkhanas, the parents and children soccer match or the single vs married match and the Children's playback
On Thursday, August 15, at the Real, the T-shirt and necklaces workshop will be held and at 7 pm, the Costume Party will take place with snack for children and the performance of 'Cascabel Puppets'.
The next day, it will be the turn of youth playback.
On Saturday, August 17, the residents of the town will go to clean and pick up the garbage from Mount Carmoli.
In addition, there will be a parade, a disco party and a costume contest.
The end of these parties will be lived on Sunday, August 18 with the awards ceremony, the dessert contest and the tasting of a great paella.
