From this Monday, August 5, the Prado Museum works will fill the promenade of the Port of Cartagena with Heroes de Cavite, an initiative that is organized on the occasion of the celebration of the museum's bicentennial.
In total, there will be 50 representative works exhibited in panels along with information about the collections and the history of the museum itself, as well as the main pictorial schools such as Spanish, Flemish or Italian.
The opening of this itinerant exhibition will take place at 11 am by the deputy mayor, Noelia Arroyo, together with the mayor of Area and delegate of Culture, David Martínez and Carlos Piñana.
The Prado Museum seeks to publicize its collections and works, which is why since last year 2018 they launched this project through various cities of the national geography, among which is Cartagena.
