The Agency for Local Development and Employment of Cartagena (ADLE) has facilitated the hiring of 351 unemployed people, through its Placement Agency, in the first half of 2019. Of these, 35% are under 30 and 45 % they are women.
In total, from January to June, the ADLE has processed 183 job offers and finally there have been 84 companies that have carried out hiring.
The job seekers who have been enrolled in the ADLE Placement Agency during these first six months have been 1,687.
From ADLE, all unemployed people enrolled in this personalized service are offered, taking into account the current situation, interests and needs of each of them.
It should be noted, according to the Councilor for the Employment Area, Irene Ruiz, that ADLE technicians have also visited in the first half of the year more than 340 companies in the municipality to present their Placement Agency, of which, 64 have registered for the first time in the Agency's web portal.
The ADLE makes a pre-selection of potential workers within its employment exchange, depending on the needs of the demanding companies for free.
