On the occasion of the XVI edition of the Festival of Improvised Oral Poetry 'Trovalia' that begins tonight in Cartagena, the artists who will participate throughout the weekend have visited the premises of the City Hall, where they have been received by the Councilor of Celebrations , Juan Pedro Torralba, in addition to conducting a guided tour of the different rooms.
This well-established festival, which will be held the nights from this August 2 until Sunday 4, is organized by the José María Marín Trovera Association, in collaboration with the Department of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena and the Institute of Cultural Industries and of the Arts of the Region of Murcia.
Artists from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Panama, Uruguay and Venezuela will perform alongside other nationals of the Canary Islands and Andalusia, but also from Murcia, La Unión and the José María Marín Trovera Association itself with improvised songs and poems starring the sea.
All concerts will be free starting at 10 pm and will be held in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Cartagena this first night, and in the Maritime Walk of Mar de Cristal and the Plaza de la Iglesia de Isla Plana during Friday and Saturday.
