The deputation of Perín celebrates its popular festivities in honor of the Virgen de la Piedad as of Friday, August 2 with more than two weeks of activities, including live music, popular games and sports championships, Foam Party, the VII Donkey Trail Race, gastronomic tastings and many surprises.
Thus, the parties, organized by the Association of Neighbors, the Municipal Neighborhood Board of Perín and the Department of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena, will run until Sunday, August 18.
They will begin this Friday with the inauguration of the parties with tombola and the lighting of the lights, from 22.00 hours, after which there will be lively dance by the duo 'Minerva'.
This year the proclamation will be in charge of the councilor of the area of ​​Security, Public Road and Celebrations and delegated councilor of Urban Services and Projects, Juan Pedro Torralba.
After the opening ceremony, at 00:00 hours, neighbors can taste michirones dishes.
On Saturday, August 3, the second edition of the Grand Festival 'Burrock' will take place with the performances of Wildside, Hitten, Alaenoctis, Strigoi and there will be numerous surprises.
