Athletes of all levels and categories will meet from this Friday, August 2, at Levante Beach in Cabo de Palos in the 11th edition of the La Manga Beach Volleyball Master, organized by Master Voley, the sports club La Manga and Beach Volleyball La Manga, in collaboration with the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena together with the UPCT.

The event, which was presented this Thursday, August 1 at the City Hall by the Councilor for Sports, Diego Ortega, with the organizer, Angel Modia, and the vice president of the Primisport Club of adapted sports of Cartagena and Region, Isidoro , will feature three events: the II Primisport Championship, the III Gustavo Fortea Memorial and the II Pedro Meca Memorial.

After the success of last year with the I edition of the inclusive beach volleyball championship organized by the Primisport sports club, the Master Tournament will have a second edition that will be held this Friday, August 2, being the first event of the three that make up.

It will begin at 10.30 am at the Levante Beach in Cabo de Palos, where the remaining two events will also be held, until 1 pm with players from the Primisport club along with others from the La Manga sports club.

The second of these events that commemorates the late organizer Gustavo Fortea, will also be held this weekend, from Friday 2 and until Sunday 4, when the final will be played from 7 pm, and in which they will participate a total of 77 couples of amateur category.

On August 17 and 18 it will be the last of the three events, which will also commemorate Pedro Meca for the second time, reaching a total of 101 couples in its first edition last year.

On the first day the male and female categories will meet, while on Sunday they will do the mixed category couples, being the finals of both days at 19 hours.

For these two commemorative tournaments, participants from all over the country will come from communities such as Madrid, Andalusia or Catalonia, which will compete in this Cartagena beach together with the local couples, fulfilling the objective of opening the borders of the competitions organized by these clubs outside the Region .
