Agents of the Local Police of Cartagena intervened last weekend of July 20 and 21 in the vicinity of the Espacio Mediterráneo shopping center before an alleged case of false charity.

The method used by these supposed associations is to request an economic contribution for people with some type of disability, usually visual or auditory.

This type of practice is totally prohibited, according to the Cartagena Local Police, if the corresponding authorization is not available.

That is why it is recommended to distrust such practices, which sometimes have other people "hook" who proceed to commit theft.
